Staying at Casa D'Mar was a delightful experience that truly showcased the essence of Ponta do Sol. The location, with stunning ocean views and close proximity to local attractions, set the perfect backdrop for our gourmet getaway. Each morning brought a carefully curated breakfast, and I must say, the banana bread was a standout-fluffy and subtly sweet, it prompted me to ask for the recipe! The dining area exuded a relaxed ambiance, complemented by a cozy bar and a terrace that invited leisurely conversations and reflection on our adventures. Our host, Guillaume, provided us with insightful recommendations about the local culinary scene, including the nearby Bar Tapas ZiKriola, which offered a refreshing taste of local flavors. The excursion we enjoyed with Guillaume unfolded layers of the island's history and natural beauty that guided us to hidden gems. Casa D'Mar blends comfort with curated culinary experiences that resonate with food enthusiasts. I look forward to returning for another flavor-filled retreat.
